COMMERCIAL MANIAC

Are people too sensitive? I don't know. All I know is that this morning, I stumbled upon The View and heard a discussion about a backlash against the Snickers Superbowl commercial. Rosie O'Donnell mentioned that some people found the commercial to be offensive to homosexual males.

Well, I have to say I disagree. I watched the commercial and loved it. I thought, if anything, the commercial made fun of 'alpha males' and their ridiculous fear of anything that could put their manhood in question. Of course, the thought crossed my mind that people would misinterpret the commercial and I guess I was right. It is sad that we are all so easily offended but, of course, you really can't blame people when you think about it. There are many of us who in the interest of getting attention and making money will say things that are hateful and offensive. These people do not care about other people's feelings, just their quest for fame, infamy and riches.
