COMMERCIAL MANIAC

Did you see the new Heineken commercial over this last weekend? It features glamor shots of a Heineken bottle accompanied with Pharell singing 'Beautiful'. I really liked this commercial which came on every 25 minutes while I watched the 'Footballer's Wives:Overtime' marathon on BBC America instead of the Superbowl.

The funniest thing I saw in this commercial was a short, and I mean very short, clip of the Heineken bottle in bed with a bottle opener. It cracks me up just thinking about it. It actually looks like a rap video for a beer bottle rap artist, if that makes any sense. Very sleek and sexy.

Thanks Heineken for a good commercial. I don't like or drink beer but this has definitely placed heineken in a category above other beers, in my opinion. See, advertising works! Even my kids liked it. Well, they liked the music. I hope they don't understand what a Heineken is.
